Arlington County provides specialized services for individuals with disabilities of all ages as they can be at an an increased risk of physical, social or intellectual barriers. Specialized services include social clubs, family-centered programming, camps, adapted classes, and leisure education. We strive to have something for everyone!

Everyone is welcome to participate in the County's general recreation programs. We provide inclusion support for individuals with disabilities in workshops, camps and classes to ensure reasonable accommodations are made in all DPR and contracted programs. Reasonable accommodations include individualized accommodation plans, staff training, adapted equipment and techniques, additional staff, sign language interpreters, assisted listening devices, large print or Braille documents.
