Vehicle Decal Design Competition

2011 - 2012 Vehicle Decal Design Competition

Voting for the design of the 2011-2012 Vehicle Decal Design has concluded, and the winner is... "Hume, Sweet Hume" by Maya Giacobbe, Wakefield High School

For the seventh year, high school students living in Arlington were invited to submit designs to the Treasurer's Vehicle Decal Competition.
A citizens' panel met on January 8, to narrow the twenty four entries received down to four finalists.
Public voting took place to determine the winning design from January 12 to February 13, 2011.

All four competitors and their designs were presented at the February 15th meeting of the County Board where the winning design was announced. Each finalist was presented with a $500 U.S. Savings Bond by Wachovia Bank. The winning design will be displayed on the windshields of over 155,000 vehicles.
