Holiday Parties
In addition to their daily duties, Arlington Police officers are busy this month helping Santa Claus deliver thousands of presents to Arlington children. The donated gifts were provided by the U.S. Marine Corps' Toys for Tots program. They are being distributed at a number of holiday parties hosted by Police and the Department of Parks, Recreation and Cultural Resources. These pictures are from the Holiday party December 8 at the Walter Reed Community Center in South Arlington where each child got to select a gift. As you can see, some of the older boys and girls got brand new bicycles.
