PLAY as a volunteer with children in our summer camps.
LEARN new skills as you join our team.
GROW as an individual and make a difference.
Here are just a few of the ways you can serve the Arlington community:
|Visual Art Volunteer|
Creative individuals needed to develop and provide instruction for sessions of art projects to groups at Parks and Recreation community centers. Volunteer will work collaboratively with the Community Arts Programmer and lending office to learn a prepared art project kit and then administer/facilitate art activity to a group.
This is a learn to swim program for individuals age 3 to adult with developmental disabilities. "Buddies" are needed to assist one on one with participants in the water. Commitment to entire session (10 weeks) is preferred. There are 4 sessions each year, one per season. The Winter Session begins on Sunday, January 26, 2014.
