COMPREHENSIVE ANNUAL FINANCIAL REPORTS (CAFR)
Section 15.2-2511 of the Code of Virginia requires that all general-purpose local governments publish within six months of the close of each fiscal year a complete set of financial statements presented in conformity with generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP) and audited in accordance with generally accepted auditing standards by a firm of licensed certified public accountants. Electronic versions of Arlington's Comprehensive Annual Financial Report (CAFR) for FY2001 to present are available. CAFRs are presented in PDF format.
