Study rooms
- Study rooms may be used by the public on a walk-in basis, or reserved up to 21 days in advance.
- Use of these rooms is limited to 2 hours per group, per day.
- Applicants are required to abide by the study room policy and guidelines.
Central Library
Capacity: 2-6 people

Columbia Pike Branch Library
Capacity: 2-8 people
Equipment: table, chairs

Westover Branch Library
Capacity: 2-8 people
Equipment: table, chairs, whiteboard
Reservations taken at the Westover service desk, or by calling 703-228-5260.
Central Library--Nonprofit Resource Center
Capacity: 2-6 people
Equipment: tables, chairs, computer for Non-Profit Research
Nonprofit groups may reserve this space at the Central reference desk, or by calling 703-228-5958. All other use on a walk-in basis only, with preference given to Nonprofit groups.

- Applicants are required complete an online application and to abide by the meeting room policy and guidelines.
Central Library--2nd Floor Meeting Room
Capacity: 35 people

Capacity: 180 people
Equipment: podium, tables, chairs. Wired microphone with capacity for additional AV equipment. Sound system transmits an FM signal for persons with hearing loss.

Cherrydale Branch Library--Mezzanine Meeting Room
Capacity: 15 people
Equipment: tables, chairs, electrical outlets, flip chart stand, small whiteboard
Note: The is meeting room is only accessible by stairs. It is an open "loft" space and sound carries down to the main floor of the library.

Shirlington Branch Library--Edmund and Elizabeth Campbell Meeting Room
Capacity: 75 people seated auditorium style, 28 in a hollow square, or 32 classroom style
Equipment: podium, tables, chairs. Wired microphone with capacity for additional AV equipment. Sound system transmits an FM signal for persons with hearing loss.
Note: The meeting room can be divided in two, and smaller groups may be assigned to a smaller space.
