Message from the Director
Welcome to Arlington County's Department of Human Services web site.
Human services are for our entire community. If you have a child in a day care center or public school in Arlington, if you eat in Arlington restaurants, or shop at our grocery stores, you are a beneficiary of Arlington human services.
At our web site you will learn about services to the general public, to children, and to persons who are disabled or elderly. We have also included extensive information about services targeted to people who are disadvantaged. We want information available to clients as they access the web through schools, the public libraries, and other public access sites. We also want taxpayers to know what we are doing with their money.
