The rigid worksite wellness criteria include creating a supportive health-promoting environment and carefully evaluating program outcomes. 

American Heart Association Fit Friendly Companies Gold Award September 2009:  The American Heart Association’s Start!  Program has acknowledged Arlington County Government for promoting an active and healthy environment for its employees through educational programs and services.
