The Arlington County Fire Department, in partnership with Marymount University, is excited to announce its first ever "Girls on Fire" residential summer camp! The event will take place from Friday July 13th to Sunday, July 15th, 2012. The camp is open to all female high school students (age 14-18) in the region, and is completely free of charge! It will provide a unique insight into life as a Firefighter/EMT, and will encourage young females to consider the fire service as a career, either after high school or after college.
Use the link below to download the application packet. The slots are competitive, as there are only 16 available slots for this year's camp! Complete the packet and return it to the Arlington County Fire Department no later than June 5th, 2012.
