A cracked driveway apron can be replaced at a cost to the property owner of $750 for driveways measured at 10 feet or less, and $75 per foot in excess.

This cracked driveway apron can be replaced using the fee schedule above. The adjacent heaved up sidewalk and displaced gutter pan that may not drain properly will be replaced at no cost. Property owners are given a notice so they may move their vehicles.  Concrete on private property will not be replaced.

This new driveway apron and sidewalk is in the process of curing.  Because the concrete’s strength is related to the curing time, we recommend not driving on your new apron for at least 5 days after it is poured.

Slabs of old concrete sidewalk are excavated and trucked to our concrete crusher to be recycled into aggregate material.  Crews are careful not to damage landscaping and lawns. The area surrounding the old walk is relatively undisturbed.

In this picture, the crew has set the forms for the new sidewalk and they are pouring the concrete.

The crew is finishing the fresh concrete for this curb and gutter replacement.  After the forms are removed, asphalt will be used to fill in the gap between the new gutter and the roadway.

We appreciate your cooperation during any County improvement project.
