Arlington apartment and condo residents can recycle computers and other electronics at the County’s HHM Drop-Off Facility

Items accepted free of charge include:

  • Audio/visual equipment
  • Cable TV boxes
  • Calculators
  • Cameras (including video)
  • Cell phones (including smart phones/PDAs)
  • Circuiomputer equipment (CD-ROM, floppy drives, hard drives, memory, modems, servers)
  • Computer tablets and laptops
  • DVD/VCR/CD players
  • Microscopes
  • MP3 players
  • Office equipment (copiers, fax machines, printers)
  • Power supplies
  • Tape drives
  • Telephone/systems
  • Telescopes
  • Televisions* ($20)
  • TiVo/DVRs
  • Video game systems/players

Computer monitors are accepted for a $15 fee. Televisions are accepted for a $20 fee.

Metal and Appliances

Small scrap metal items (50 lbs. maximum, each item) can be dropped off at the Inert Materials and Scrap Metal Drop-Off Facility.
