Emergency Response - Shelters
In the event of an emergency requiring the sheltering of its citizens, the Arlington County Office of Emergency Management will provide specific shelter information including:
- The name of the facilities that are ADA-accessible to persons with disabilities
- The shelter address
- A contact phone number, including TTY number via several different methods
The information will be made public as:
- An Arlington Alert will be sent advising residents where to go
- The County’s web site will post the information on the home page
- 1700 AM will carry the information as will all local media
