Madison Adult Day Health Care Center Celebrates 30th Anniversary

ARLINGTON, Va. – Arlington County’s Madison Adult Day Health Care Center will hold its 30th Anniversary Celebration Luncheon on Friday, September 22, 2006, from 12 Noon – 2 p.m. 

The luncheon coincides with National Adult Day Services Week, September 17 – 23.  The Madison A.D.H.C., located at 3829 N. Stafford St., welcomes community members to join in this landmark celebration! 

Arlington County Board Chairman Chris Zimmerman and Arlington County Board Member Paul Ferguson will be among the honored guests at the event. 

The theme for the 30th anniversary is “A Sparkling Gem in the Community.” 

Remarks on the services and activities of the Madison Adult Day Health Center will begin at 12 Noon, followed by a celebratory luncheon.  Entertainment will be provided by The Song Masters.

About the Madison Adult Day Health Care Center

As an important service to the continuum of long-term care for adults in Arlington County, The Madison A.D.H.C. offers day time activities and services to enhance and maintain the participants’ independence. 

These services include therapeutic recreation, health care monitoring, mental health services; assistance with personal care needs, support and respite to the caregivers, as well as provision of nutritious hot lunches and snacks.
