Arlington County Government Closed Memorial Day
Administrative offices closed May 25
ARLINGTON, Va. – All Arlington County administrative offices, courts, public libraries and nature centers will be closed Monday, May 25, in observance of the Memorial Day holiday. Government operations will resume normal schedules on Tuesday, May 26. A few highlights:
- Arlington Transit (ART) -- ART 41 and 51 will operate a Sunday service schedule on May 25. No other regularly-scheduled ART services will be operated on this holiday.
- ART information call center -- 703-228-RIDE (7433) -- and all Commuter Stores will be closed May 25.
- STAR Call Center (Specialized Transportation for Arlington Residents) -- (703) 892-TRIP (8747) -- will be closed and all standing order rides cancelled for May 25. The STAR call center will be open Sunday, May 24 from 11:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.
- Barcroft Sports & Fitness Center will be open from 8am-2pm on May 25; all other community centers will be closed.
- Enjoy Arlington! classes (formerly Recreation & Leisure classes) are not held on any holiday, including May 25.
