Fiscal Affairs Advisory Commission

 

The Fiscal Affairs Advisory Commission (FAAC) is a citizen commission appointed by the County Board to provide independent review of the County Manager's Recommended Budget and other financial issues of the County, and shall provide advice to the County Board on fiscal issues.  Board members of FAAC also serve on other committees and boards, such as the Committee on Program Performance, Public Facility Review, and the Long Bridge Advisory Committee.   FAAC operates under a charter adopted by the Arlington County Board.

The Fiscal Affairs Advisory Commission generally meets monthly, with meetings beginning at 7:00 pm unless otherwise noted, and its activities/agendas are coordinated by the Budget Director, Richard Stephenson
