Columbia Pike Special Revitalization District - Form Based Code Advisory Working Group
The County Manager charged County staff and a group of community members to collaboratively discuss and review the FBC from a technical perspective to ensure that it is a clear, discernable, and useful document that implements the vision for Columbia Pike. Specifically, the working group will:
- Assist staff by identifying and reviewing proposed amendments and interpretations to the FBC based on:
- technical corrections needed to provide more clarity and/or to improve the organization of information in the FBC;
- unexpected outcomes observed as the FBC is applied to development proposals or observed as projects are completed; and
- changes to the community vision for a particular area of Columbia Pike or changes to community goals that are expressed in the FBC.
- Serve as the “Community Review Team” to review development proposals for compliance with the FBC, as specified in the regulation guiding FBC implementation (Administrative Regulations 4.1.2).
- Develop a working knowledge of the FBC that can be shared with others in order to maintain and enhance community understanding of the provisions the FBC; and
- Act as liaisons to help keep neighborhoods informed of ongoing discussions and to seek feedback to share with the Working Group
