This class is devoted to preserving and gaining new muscular strength and flexibility. All major muscle groups, including abdominals, are exercised with weights through their full range of motion each class. Extra emphasis is given to upper body exercises on Mondays, torso strengthening mat work on Wednesdays, and lower body exercises on Fridays. Goals are to achieve definite and observable muscular strength, preserve and strengthen bone density, and maintain full joint flexibility.
