The Arlington
County Cable Administration Office is charged with oversight and administration
of the cable television franchise certificate. One of the responsibilities of this
office is investigating cable-related complaints.
All information provided to the Cable Administration Office may be available for
inspection under the
Virginia Freedom of Information Act (§ 2.2-3704, et seq.,
Code of Virginia).
You are not required to provide any of the requested information. The Cable Administration
Office, however, is less likely to be able to assist you if the requested information
is not provided. Information is routinely used for processing cable complaints.
All information provided may be disclosed to the cable company and/or referred to
other regulatory agencies.
In addition to completing this online complaint form, please provide (either by
mail or by fax) copies of any relevant documents, such as work orders, receipts,
billing statements, cancelled checks (front and back), etc.
Complaints may also be submitted by calling 703-228-3242 from 9 am to 5 pm,
Monday through Friday, or leaving a message outside of those hours.
If your complaint is not cable-related, there are other ways to
report a problem.
