TRAFFIC ALERT: 2011 Four Courts Four Miler Closures

ARLINGTON, VA

The Arlington County Police Department will close several roadways on Saturday, March 12, for the Four Courts Four Miler run. Road closures may be opened early according to crowds.


• One lane of Wilson Boulevard, from North Rhodes Street to North Courthouse Road, will be open from 7 AM to 8:30 AM.

• Both lanes of Wilson Boulevard, from North Rhodes Street to North Courthouse Road, will be closed from 8:30 A.M. to 11 A.M.

• The left lane of Wilson Boulevard, from Rt. 110 in Rosslyn to North Rhodes Street, will close at 8:45 A.M. The right lane will remain open to vehicular traffic.

• Northbound Rt. 110, from S. 12th Street in Crystal City to the exit for I-66, will be closed from 8:30 A.M. to 11:30 A.M.

• The westbound Rt. 50 ramp to N. Lynn Street and the eastbound Rt. 50 ramp to N. Meade Street will be closed.

• The southbound I-395 ramp to northbound Rt. 110 will be closed.


Attendees are encouraged to use the Metro. The Courthouse Metro station on the Orange Line is located near the beginning of the race.

In addition, street parking in the area will be restricted. Motorists should be on the lookout for temporary “No Parking” signs. Illegally parked vehicles may be ticketed or towed. If your vehicle is towed from a public street, call 703-228-4252.
