The Arlington County Police Department provides a variety of services, ranging from standard patrolling of the streets of Arlington to escorts of dignitaries from Arlington to the White House.
Our first and main priority is to keep the people who live, work, and travel through Arlington County as safe as possible. Our sworn men, women and K-9 officers run radar to check for speeders, patrol residential neighborhoods to check on houses and make sure all is safe as possible, and respond to calls of distress, crime, accidents, lost persons, missing persons, malicious woundings, and homicides.
