Free Child Safety Seat Inspection
Child safety seats protect your children only if they're installed properly.
The Arlington County Auxiliary Police, an all-volunteer unit, offer free child safety seat inspections to residents of Arlington County. Car seats must be installed prior to your appointment. We will evaluate your installation and instruct you, if necessary, in the proper method of installation. Time required is approximately 30 minutes.
Child Safety Seat inspections are scheduled on a regular basis throughout the year.

REPORT AN UNBUCKLED CHILD

When you report an unbuckled child, if an Arlington County resident, the registered owner of the vehicle will receive a letter from the Arlington County Police Department along with educational material and information of safety seat events. NO ticket is issued.
