Arlington County Fitness Center memberships are valid for one year from the date of purchase in the following locations:

RULES OF THE GAME
- Memberships are non-transferable.
- Reduced membership rates are available based on income and family size. Please ask for additional information, 703-228-4747 or go to our Fee Reduction page. Arlington County can provide upon request reasonable accommodations for people with disabilities. Two weeks advance notice is preferred. Call 703-228-4740 or TTY 703-228-4743.
- Membership cards must be presented during each visit. When purchasing a daily Guest Pass you must present proof of residency.
- Lost or stolen membership cards must be replaced. The fee is $10. Members are granted one courtesy entrance without a pass. No other exceptions will be made.
- At times, special events dictate that fitness room schedules be modified. Notices will be posted when this happens. Please remember that there are other centers open to serve your needs.
CRITERIA
- Arlington Adults and Seniors: When applying for a new or renewal membership card please provide a photo ID along with one of the following:
- Valid drivers license indicating Arlington County residence.
- Current original lease of Arlington property with your name on it.
- Current Arlington County Personal Property Tax, Real Estate Tax Receipt, Voter Registration Card, County Water or Sewer Bill, Valid Car Registration with Arlington Address.
High School Students: Arlington County Students who are at least 18 years old are eligible by providing an official school schedule, report card or letter from a school administrator confirming student status.
Arlington Business Owner Individual Membership: Anyone who owns a business in Arlington County and would like to purchase a membership will be charged the resident rate by providing a business license and photo ID.
Arlington County and APS Employees (excluding public safety): All PRCR staff (permanent and temporary) are eligible for a 50% discount on rates for annual adult pass, senior adult, college student, and Arlington high school student. PRCR Employees must present a staff ID and a current payment statement (with logo). Fulltime permanent Arlington County (other than PRCR) and APS staff get a 50% discount as well. County Employees must show a County pay stub with PRISM logo within the last month showing vacation leave accrual to receive the discount while APS Employee must provide a pay stub within the last month showing health benefit deductions.
Arlington County Public Safety Officers: Complimentary fitness memberships are granted to Arlington County law enforcement, fire, and EMS uniformed employees with proper ID. Public safety professionals from other jurisdictions can pay the resident rate for membership.
Active Military Personnel: All active military personnel will be charged the resident rate when providing current military ID with photo.
Arlington Business Membership: Arlington businesses can purchase an Arlington Business Membership that provides five passes to be shared among employees. The business name goes on the membership and it is the responsibly of the business to mange the membership cards.
AMENITIES
Lockers
You may bring your own lock and secure your valuables in a locker at Thomas Jefferson, Barcroft, or Fairlington for each workout session. Coin lockers are available at Thomas Jefferson and Barcroft, and lockers in the Thomas Jefferson locker room are also available for rent for $60 a year. Check with the front desk staff for more information.
Towel Service at Thomas Jefferson and Barcroft Centers
Fitness center users can get a free towel for use in centers by asking the front desk.
