The Department of Parks, Recreation, and Cultural Resources (PRCR) offers a recreational house league basketball program for youth in grades 1-12.

Fees: $75 through November 16, 2009. $90 on or after November 17.
Additional Information: All sessions are held at the TJ Community Center, 3501 South 2nd Street. T-shirt pick-up and a parents' meeting will be November 23rd from 6:30 - 8:30 PM at the Thomas Jefferson School Theatre and the coaches meeting will be December 1 at the TJ Community Center Gym from 6:30-8:30pm. The first practice is December 5. Grade 1 teams will play 8:30 - 10:30am; Grade 2 teams will play 10:30am - 12:30pm. The program is limited to the first 440 registrants.
Practice and Game Schedule: The league plays on Saturdays only. The first two weeks are clinics which will be held the entire two hour period. After that teams will have two weeks of one hour practices during their grade's allotted time frame. The last four weeks will be guided games. There will be no practices/games on January 16th or February 13th. The program will end on February 20th, with a make-up date of February 27th if needed.

Any returning players on 2008-09 rosters who wish to remain on last year's team are given priority on 2009-10 rosters until 8:00 PM on Tuesday, October 13, 2009. This is a no-cut program. All players will be placed on a team. Players rostered on Arlington Travel Basketball are eligible to participate in the Arlington House League Program.
