Weddings

Fort C.F. Smith featuring the Hendry House provides a beautiful setting for weddings and/or rehearsal dinners. We will assist you in planning your special day to help you make the most of this wonderful historic site. Take advantage of the lovely indoor and outdoor settings. Rental Information

Organizing a meeting, training session, seminar, retreat, a wedding or other social or corporate event? Plan your special day at The Hendry House located in the beautiful Fort C.F. Smith Park. This 20th century mansion offers historic elegance in a park setting.

The Hendry House is available for use:

Monday - Friday from 8:00am - 10:00pm
Saturday & Sunday from 7:30am - 10:00pm

The Hendry House can accommodate 65 people seated, 85 people standing or up to 150 people with the addition of a tent on the adjoining lawn area.

This space is divided into four separate meeting rooms, a large kitchen for caterers, front and side porches, and a separate changing room for wedding parties or others who need such facilities. The meeting space accommodates 50 people in one room auditorium-style. There is ample parking and alcoholic beverages may be served. We encourage you to contact us today to schedule an appointment so you can fully appreciate all that this wonderful treasure has to offer.

Additional meeting equipment is available for a nominal fee including:

Tent grounds fee $200 (tent must be rented from approved vendor at renter's expense)

Hendry House Usage Fee Schedule

Weekday day rates are Monday through Friday from 8:00am to 5:00pm. (Please note that weekday day rates do not apply to weddings/receptions.)

$500 (8 hours)
$350 (4 hours)
$75 for each additional hour
$100 Alcohol Use Permit
$500 Security Deposit

Weekday evening rates are Monday through Thursday from 5:00pm to 10:00pm.

$650 (5 hours) or $450 (5 hours) with proof of Arlington County residency
$75 for each additional hour
$100 Alcohol Use Permit
$500 Security Deposit

Weekend rates are Friday from 5:00pm to 10:00pm; Saturday and Sunday from 7:30am to 10:00pm.

$2,200 (5 hours) or $2,000 with proof of Arlington County residency
$150 for each additional hour
$100 Alcohol Use Permit
$200 Tent Fee
$500 Security Deposit

Holiday rates are the same as weekend rates. The house is not available on all holidays.

A $500 deposit holds the date. The balance is due 90 days prior to the event date. The balance does not include your deposit.

Note: Multiple bookings of three dates or more receive a 15% discount.

Upon request, we are happy to provide you with our Preferred Caterers List. They are sure to add just the right touch and exquisite cuisine for your special day.
