Directions from Metro: - One of the most common routes is to take the Orange Line to Clarendon Metro station. Our headquarters is located diagonally across Wilson Boulevard from this Metro station. For the most direct route, call Metro at 202-637-7000 (TTY 202-638-3780), or use the WMATA trip planner.
- By Bus: For Metrobus, take the 38B bus from Ballston Metro station, or the 24M or 24P bus from the Pentagon Metro station or east end of Columbia Pike (use WMATA trip planner). ART routes 41, 42 and 77 serve the Clarendon area as well.
Direction from Maryland, D.C., or Points North and East:  - From I-395 South, exit at Route 27 (Washington Boulevard). Merge onto Washington Boulevard. Proceed north approximately a mile, and then turn right onto North Highland Street. Cross over Clarendon Boulevard and Wilson Boulevard, and then look to the right for the "DHS Parking" sign at the entrance to the parking garage.
- From US 29 South (Lee Highway), turn left onto North Veitch Street. Turn right onto Wilson Boulevard. Turn right onto North Highland Street and then right again into the underground parking garage marked "DHS Parking."
- From I-66 West, exit at US 50 West (Arlington Boulevard). Merge onto Arlington Boulevard and continue to North 10th Street. Turn right onto North 10th, then right onto Washington Boulevard, and right again onto North Highland Street. Make a last right into the underground parking garage when you see the green "DHS Parking" sign.
Directions from Northern Virginia and Points South and West: - From I-395 north, exit at Route 27 (Washington Boulevard), and merge onto Washington Boulevard. Proceed north approximately a mile, and turn right onto North Highland Street. Cross over Clarendon Boulevard and Wilson Boulevard, and watch on the right for the underground parking garage marked "DHS Parking."
- From US Route 29 North (Lee Highway), turn right onto Kirkwood Road. Turn left onto Washington Boulevard. Turn left again onto North Highland Street, and then right into the underground parking garage.
- From I-66 East, exit at Route 29/Spout Run. At the bottom of the ramp turn right, then at the second light turn right again onto Highland Street. Proceed on Highland Street, and approximately 200 feet after you go over the last speed bump look to your left for the entrance to the parking garage marked "DHS Parking."

Free parking is available for DHS visitors in the underground parking garage off of Highland Street, at the rear of the building. Parking tickets will be validated at the time of your visit. From 6:00 p.m. until 2:30 a.m., the garage is open for free public parking. | |
