Arlington Virginia Fire Department Special Event Assistance
The Arlington County Fire Department (ACFD) will provide emergency medical services (EMS) coverage and fire truck visits at small public events and schools upon request. Requests should be made at least 3 weeks in advance and are subject to approval based on staff availability. If you are planning a public event, please be sure to check ACFD's Safety Requirements for Public Events as part of your planning.
Requests for our participation at large events should go through the special events committee coordinated by the Police Department. There may be a charge for our services at larger events. Additional information on cost is provided in the special events forum.
