Environmental Services

The Mission of DES is to bring strategic focus to critical policy areas of transportation, the environment, and capital investment as well as providing continuing operations and maintenance in these areas.

 

DES celebrated the completion of the Columbia Pike “Town Center” Streetscape Improvement Project with a ribbon-cutting on Nov 16. Enhancements include wider sidewalks, new bus shelters, better lighting, underground utilities and street trees. Learn about projects on the Pike.
