Even when County Government is "closed," it is never really closed. Throughout the snow event, hundreds of County employees remain on the job to keep the community running.
The 2010 Management Plan/County Board Priority Check List is now available online. The list supports the County and County Board’s key priorities for the calendar year. These priorities are in addition to the County’s other annual processes, initiatives, work plans and programs currently underway, and the day-today operations and services provided to the community.
The County’s 2009 Annual Report is now available. The report highlights many of the County’s accomplishments during the year in a number of areas including: fiscal sustainability, economic sustainability, social justice, environmental sustainability, administrative and physical infrastructure, employer of choice and capital programs. Arlington County has been notified of $19.3 million of federal funding under the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act (ARRA) that will benefit projects in our community.
