2010 Management Plan/County Board Priority Check List Available

The 2010 Management Plan/County Board Priority Check List is now available online.  The list supports the County and County Board’s key priorities for the calendar year.  These priorities are in addition to the County’s other annual processes, initiatives, work plans and programs currently underway, and the day-today operations and services provided to the community. 

2009 Annual Report Released

The County’s 2009 Annual Report is now available.  The report highlights many of the County’s accomplishments during the year in a number of areas including: fiscal sustainability, economic sustainability, social justice, environmental sustainability, administrative and physical infrastructure, employer of choice and capital programs.  Read the full report here.

Arlington's Triple-Aaa Bond Rating Reaffirmed

Arlington is one of fewer than two dozen counties in the United States to carry the coveted triple-A bond rating from all three rating agencies. Read more.

Arlington to Benefit from Federal Stimulus Funding

Arlington County has been notified of $19.3 million of federal funding under the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act (ARRA) that will benefit projects in our community. The amount includes funding for infrastructure, transportation, environmental sustainability, law enforcement and Arlington’s social safety net. Read more.
