Welcome to Current Planning
 | Current Planning Current Planning is responsible for regulating Arlington's short-range development by analyzing development proposals to implement the County's approved Comprehensive Plan, local area and other plans as well as all applicable development regulations, and to ensure the safety and general welfare of the Arlington community and its immediate neighbors. Current Planning staff reviews applications for Special Exception Use Permits and Site Plans, works with applicants and community members to address concerns and provides recommendations for County Board action. In addition, for approved special exception projects, Current Planning reviews post-approval plans to ensure they comply with the plans and conditions as approved by the County Board. |
