Comprehensive Planning
Comprehensive Planning is responsible for guiding Arlington's long-range development by working closely with the community to develop plans and analyze development requests in the light of those plans. Comprehensive Planning seeks to concentrate high-density, mixed-use development along transit corridors, while preserving and enhancing Arlington's existing single-family and apartment neighborhoods.
