Repair and Improvement Programs for Home Owners
There are two non-profit organizations in Arlington that provide assistance to income eligible home owners with maintenance, repair and home improvements.
- The Home Improvement Program (HIP) administered by AHC, Inc. provides technical and financial assistance to income eligible home owners to make repairs and/or improvements to their home.
- Rebuilding Together and Hearts and Hammers administered by Rebuilding Together Arlington/Fairfax/Falls Church assists income eligible home owners with maintenance and repair of their homes.
If you believe that your property sustained major damage as a result of a major storm event or natural disaster, and you may require a permit for the repairs, you can request an inspection by calling 703-228-3800.
